Anzac Day Express Tour to Gallipoli

Rated 5.0 out of 5
May 13, 2023

We recently had the privilege of joining an Anzac Day Express Tour to Gallipoli, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the tour was well-organized, informative, and deeply moving.

First and foremost, the highlight of the tour was attending the Anzac Day Dawn Service at Anzac Cove. The atmosphere was incredibly solemn yet uplifting as thousands of people gathered to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers. The ceremony was beautifully conducted, with heartfelt speeches, poignant readings, and the haunting sound of the Last Post echoing across the cove. It was a truly moving experience that left a lasting impression on me.

In addition to the Dawn Service, the guided tour of key sites on the Gallipoli Peninsula was both enlightening and educational. Our knowledgeable guide provided insightful commentary and historical context as we visited sites such as Lone Pine Cemetery, Chunuk Bair, and the Nek. Walking in the footsteps of the Anzacs and learning about their sacrifices firsthand was a humbling experience that brought history to life.

I was also impressed by the efficiency of the tour logistics. Transportation to and from Istanbul was comfortable, and the tour operator Hussain ensured that everything ran smoothly, despite the large crowds and logistical challenges of the day. The tour guide was friendly, professional, and passionate about sharing the history of Gallipoli with us.

Overall, I can’t recommend the Anzac Day Express Tour to Gallipoli highly enough. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to honor the Anzacs, pay tribute to their courage and sacrifice, and gain a deeper understanding of the Gallipoli Campaign and its significance in Australian and New Zealand history. It’s an experience that I will cherish forever.

2023 Dawn service at Gallipoli

“As an Australian, attending the Anzac Day dawn service at Gallipoli was an incredibly moving and humbling experience. Standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow Australians and New Zealanders in the pre-dawn darkness, overlooking the tranquil waters of Anzac Cove, I felt a profound sense of connection to the soldiers who fought and died on this sacred ground a century ago.

The solemnity of the service, with its haunting bugle calls and readings of letters from soldiers, brought home the enormity of the sacrifices made by the Anzacs. As the first light of dawn broke over the horizon, illuminating the rugged landscape, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude and respect for those who gave their lives in the service of their country.

Attending the dawn service at Gallipoli was a deeply emotional and unforgettable experience with regular Turkey tours that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Hussain arranged us top notch trip to Gallipoli for Anzac Day. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance and the enduring legacy of the Anzac spirit.”
